The more extensive the Community Estate (Community Property), the more important it is to have experienced counsel on your side.
The issues relating to the classification of property (Community v. Separate), establishing the value of the property, creating a fair and equitable division of property, are highly technical and complicated matters.
The Community Estate may include Real Property, Personal Property, Bank Accounts, Life Insurance Policies, Pension Plans, Investments, & a number of other assets. Each must be properly analyzed and valued if a truly equal division is to occur.
